Photos: The deplorable state of Teaching Hospitals in Nigeria

Not all but some of our hospitals are eye-sores. Take the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in Shika, Zaria for instance, photos show the deplorable state of some of the wards in the hospital.

A LIB reader who spent some nights at the hospital's Pediatric Surgery Ward sent in the photos and said the cold that comes from the broken ceiling tops can make a white man freeze! She also said there are lots of mosquitoes and the toilets are messed up because of insufficient water supply. Worse is the massive rats she says roams around freely in the ward.
