Up & Close With Rapper, Janezee Of Royal Prince Music Group

Where are you based?
I base in the eastern part of Nigeria.

What's your greatest challenge?
When i have not been signed it was not easy finding someone that could assist me. It was so difficult then.

Are you still in school?
Actually, i just concluded my secondary school education this year with good grades in all my subject. I also wrote Utme and Post Utme which was also good, i'm still waiting for the admission list which i believe will be favorable.

Define your style of music.
I sing and also rap in my native dialect.

So you have a video for one of your singles? Tell us about it and the movements that has been made to promote it.
I have two videos presently, but one is being promoted by my record label at the moment. We are also preparing to do another video on my new single FACE 1 PARTY RAP, which the audio is also been promoted. My record label is really doing a good for the video which is now on TV stations, enjoying air play on Radio stations too and is still on promotions on the internet too. I know they are also working on many other means and i'm so happy people have really been responding very well to it.

When should we anticipate your album?
I don't know yet but i'm sure it will be released very soon.

How does your family feel about you pursuing a career in music?
They are in full support of my music career and they have been giving me all the encouragement i need. I love them so much for that.

Who is/are your role model(s)?
My role models are NIGGA RAW (mr RAW) and OLAMIDE.

If you have a chance to change something in Nigeria's music industry, what would that be?
I will love the music industry to be taken to a higher level and artistes should be appreciated on their efforts especially at events when they go to perform. Promotions of good songs like mine too should be given a chance to be heard and promoted without very huge amount that are always charged for it.

So far, what has been your best and worse stage performance experiences?
My worse performance was my first stage performance when i had about one million fans to entertain. I was so scared that i might not give out what was expected. But then, my second stage performance was good because i was not seeing anybody i assumed i was all alone performing but i had more than a million fans that i was entertaining.

Which Nigerian artiste(s) would you love to feature?
Olamide, MI, Ice Prince and Flavour.

Do you have any other career you'll love to pursue besides music?
Yes I love acting too.

What is your biggest dream so far?
My biggest dream is to be well known world wide.
